Short title This Act may be cited as the No Funds for NATO Invasion Act . 2. Prohibition on invasion of NATO territory (a) Prohibition on funding No Federal funds are authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available for the invasion of— (1) a country that is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization; or (2) any territory to which Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty (commonly known as the Washington Treaty ) applies, including territory described in Article 6 of such treaty. (b) Prohibition on invasion No officer or employee of the United States may take any action to execute an invasion by the United States of a country or territory described in subsection (a).
