Short title This Act may be cited as the Stop Environmental Calculations Act of 2025 or the SEC Act of 2025 . 2. Prohibition on requiring an issuer to make climate-related disclosures that are not material to investors Section 23 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ( 15 U.S.C. 78w ) is amended by adding at the end the following: (e) Prohibition on requiring an issuer To make climate-Related disclosures that are not material to investors The Commission may not require an issuer to make climate-related disclosures that are not material to investors. .
