119 HR 7710 IH: Defense Community Infrastructure Program Tribal Eligibility Act of 2026 U.S. House of Representatives 2026-02-25 text/xml EN Pursuant to Title 17 Section 105 of the United States Code, this file is not subject to copyright protection and is in the public domain. I 119th CONGRESS 2d Session H. R. 7710 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 25, 2026 Ms. Randall (for herself and Mr. Wittman ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services A BILL To amend title 10, United States Code, to include Indian tribes in the defense community infrastructure program, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Defense Community Infrastructure Program Tribal Eligibility Act of 2026 . 2. Including Tribal governments in the defense community infrastructure program Section 2391 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (d)— (A) in paragraph (1)(A), by inserting Indian tribes, after local governments, ; and (B) in paragraph (2)(B), by striking or local government each place such term appears and inserting government, local government, or Indian tribe ; and (2) in subsection (e)— (A) in paragraph (4)(A)(ii)(I), by striking or local government and inserting government, local government, or Indian tribe ; and (B) by adding at the end the following new paragraph: (7) The term Indian tribe has the meaning given that term in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( 25 U.S.C. 5304 ). .
