R. 8155 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 27, 2026 Mr. Stutzman (for himself, Mr. Fry , Mr. Roy , and Mr. Moore of Alabama ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary A BILL To amend the Foreign Agents Registration Act to require certain disclosures on informational materials, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Foreign Propaganda Transparency Act . 2. Disclosure Section 4(b) of the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended ( 22 U.S.C. 614(b) ) is amended by adding after Columbia. the following new sentence, The conspicuous statement shall also detail, where applicable, whether the foreign principal is supervised, directed, owned, controlled, financed, or subsidized, in whole or in part, by: a covered nation as defined in section 4872(f)(2) of title 10, United States Code, or any other foreign government acting on behalf of, at the direction of, under the control of, or for the benefit of such a covered nation.
