R. 3260 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 7, 2025 Mrs. Sykes (for herself and Mr. Joyce of Pennsylvania ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce A BILL To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize mental and behavioral health education and training grants. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Mental Health Improvement Act . 2. Mental and behavioral health education and training grants Section 756(f) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 294e–1(f) ) is amended by striking fiscal years 2023 through 2027 and inserting fiscal years 2026 through 2030 .
