R. 2232 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 18, 2025 Ms. Tenney (for herself, Ms. Sewell , Mr. Bentz , Mr. Tonko , Mr. Carey , Mr. Davis of Illinois , Mrs. Miller of West Virginia , and Ms. Perez ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce , and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means , for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned A BILL To amend title XVIII to protect patient access to ground ambulance services under part B of the Medicare program. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Protecting Access to Ground Ambulance Medical Services Act of 2025 . 2. Protecting patient access to ground ambulance services Section 1834(l) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395m(l) ) is amended— (1) in paragraph (12)(A), by striking 2025 and inserting 2028 ; and (2) in paragraph (13)(A), by striking 2025 each place it appears and inserting 2028 in each such place.
