R. 1971 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 10, 2025 Mrs. Miller-Meeks introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs A BILL To amend title 38, United States Code, to include adaptive prostheses and terminal devices for sports and other recreational activities in the medical services furnished to eligible veterans by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Veterans Supporting Prosthetics Opportunities and Recreational Therapy Act or the Veterans SPORT Act . 2. Inclusion of adaptive prostheses and terminal devices for sports and other recreational activities in medical services furnished to eligible veterans by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Section 1701 of title 38, United States Code, is amended, in paragraph (6)(F)(i), by inserting (including adaptive prostheses and terminal devices for sports and other recreational activities) after artificial limbs .
