Short title This Act may be cited as the Stop the Delta Tunnel Act . 2. Prohibition on Delta Conveyance Project permit The Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, may not issue a permit under section 404 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act ( 33 U.S.C. 1344 ) relating to the Delta Conveyance Project described in the document published by the Corps of Engineers entitled Delta Conveyance Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement and dated December 2022.
