R. 1287 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 13, 2025 Ms. Brownley (for herself and Ms. Norton ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform A BILL To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that dependent children under the age of 26 are eligible for coverage under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Fix FEDVIP Age Act . 2. FEDVIP coverage for dependent children under age 26 Section 8901(5) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking 22 each place it appears and inserting 26 .
