II 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. 470 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES February 6 (legislative day, February 5), 2025 Mrs. Hyde-Smith (for herself and Mr. Hagerty ) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs A BILL To amend the CARES Act to remove a requirement on lessors to provide notice to vacate, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Respect State Housing Laws Act . 2. Clarification Section 4024 of the CARES Act ( 15 U.S.C. 9058 ) is amended by striking subsection (c).
