II 119th CONGRESS 2d Session S. 3714 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES January 28, 2026 Ms. Hassan (for herself and Mr. Scott of South Carolina ) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance A BILL To amend title V of the Social Security Act to extend funding for the family-to-family health information centers. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Family-to-Family Reauthorization Act of 2026 . 2. Extension of funding for family-to-family health information centers Section 501(c)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 701(c)(1)(A) ), as amended by section 6303 of division F of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 ( Public Law 119–37 ; 139 Stat. 636) is amended— (1) in clause (viii), by striking and at the end; (2) in clause (ix), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (x) for the period beginning on January 31, 2026, and ending on September 30, 2026, an amount equal to the pro rata portion of the amount appropriated for fiscal year 2025; and (xi) $6,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2030. .
