R. 989 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 5, 2025 Ms. Brown (for herself and Mr. Raskin ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and Workforce A BILL To codify Executive Order 11246 titled Equal Employment Opportunity . 1. Codification of Executive Order 11246 titled Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Order 11246 titled Equal Employment Opportunity , signed on September 24, 1965 (30 Fed. Reg. 12319; relating to nondiscrimination in government employment and in employment by government contractors and subcontractors) shall have the full force and effect of law.
