R. 911 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 4, 2025 Mr. Fitzpatrick (for himself and Mr. Suozzi ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform A BILL To amend title 5, United States Code, to establish Patriot Day as a Federal holiday. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Patriot Day Act . 2. Patriot Day Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to Labor Day the following: Patriot Day. .
