R. 8405 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES April 21, 2026 Mr. Deluzio (for himself and Mr. Nehls ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure A BILL To amend the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 to eliminate certain deductions for annuities under the Act. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Railroad Retirement Fairness Act . 2. Eliminating certain deductions for annuities under the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 Section 2(f) of the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974 ( 45 U.S.C. 231a(f) ) is amended by striking subdivision (6).
