I 119th CONGRESS 2d Session H. R. 8293 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES April 15, 2026 Mr. Bean of Florida introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce , and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means , for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned A BILL To abolish the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Abolish the CMMI Act . 2. Abolishing the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation is hereby abolished. 3. Technical and conforming amendments Section 1115A of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1315a ) is hereby repealed.
