R. 5461 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 18, 2025 Ms. DeGette (for herself, Mr. Bilirakis , and Mr. Ruiz ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce A BILL To extend funding for Special Diabetes Programs for Type I diabetes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Special Diabetes Program Reauthorization Act of 2025 . 2. Extension of Special Diabetes Programs for Type I diabetes Section 330B(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 254c–2(b)(2) ) is amended— (1) in subparagraph (F), by striking and at the end; (2) in subparagraph (G), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (H) $160,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030, to remain available until expended. .
