R. 5389 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 16, 2025 Mr. Burchett introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services A BILL To codify Executive Order 14347 (relating to restoring the United States Department of War). 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Restoring the United States Department of War Act . 2. Codification of Executive Order 14347 Executive Order 14347 (90 Fed. Reg. 17508; relating to restoring the United States Department of War) shall have the force and effect of law.
