R. 4043 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES June 17, 2025 Mr. Moolenaar (for himself, Mr. Bergman , and Mr. Walberg ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs A BILL To prohibit the President or any designee from violating The Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada Concerning Transit Pipelines, and for other purposes. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Line 5 Act . 2. Agreement concerning transit pipelines Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the President or any designee may not violate any provision of The Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada Concerning Transit Pipelines, signed at Washington on January 28, 1977 (TIAS 8720).
