R. 2119 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 14, 2025 Mr. Fitzpatrick introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform A BILL To amend title 5, United States Code, to establish St. Patrick’s Day as a Federal holiday. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the St. Patrick’s Day Act . 2. St. Patrick’s Day Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to Washington’s Birthday the following: St. Patrick’s Day. .
