I 119th CONGRESS 1st Session H. R. 1832 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 4, 2025 Mr. Magaziner introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce A BILL To establish Golden Sea Bream as an acceptable market name for Stenotomus chrysops. 1. Golden Sea Bream as acceptable market name A food shall not be treated as misbranded, adulterated, or otherwise in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ( 21 U.S.C. 301 et seq. ) because the food is labeled or marketed using the name Golden Sea Bream for the species Stenotomus chrysops.
